When the potatoes are boiled they are lifted up off the fire. When the potatoes are cold they are peeled. Next the potatoes are broken into a basin with a cup. When the women are making the potato cakes they wet the cake with milk. Next the potatoe cake is put into the pan to bake. When the potatoe cake is baked it is eaten. The people long ago ground their own meal with a Quern. The Quern is made of two round stones one placed upon the other.
