  1. There were a good few Landlords round this district long ago. There names were Nolan Farrell, Moore O'Farrell, Lord Dillon and Treston.
    Nolan Farrell was in Logboy
    Moore O Farrell was in Carrownedan.
    Lord Dillon was in Agloragh.
    I do not know where Mr. Treston stayed.
    The Landlords were rich men who had long stretches of land. Nolan Farrall was supposed to be a very rich man. Every owner of every house round this district had to pay big rent long ago. The people had to earn the price of the
