    It is put upon a stand and it is twisted around until it is made and then the butter is taken out of the churn and it is cleaned and then the salt is put in the butter. Then the milk is taken out of the churn and it is put in to a crock. Then the churn is cleaned and it is left out to dry.

    We have a dash churn at home and it is fourteen inches diameter at the top, and sixteen and a half inches at the bottom. It is twenty inches in height. A churning is made every four or five
