  1. The people began to wear shoes long ago when they were about sixteen years old. There is no account of people who never wore boots.
    The children leave off their shoes in Summer. There is nothing done with the water after washing the feet. There is no belief connected with the water.
    Boots are made and repaired locally. There are four shoe-makers in the district. Their people have not been shoe-makers. There are not as many shoe-makers now as there were long ago because there are machines now.
