  1. St. Patricks cross or St. Brigids cross is heald in every house. St. Brigids cross is made of rushes. It is about six inches in length. It is made at an time of year. Some times people make St. Brigids cross on St. Brigids night and shake holy water on it and leave it on the window. When holy water is shaken on St. Brigids cross it is said if a person throws it on the ground that person wont have any luck for that year.
    St. Brigids cross of Saint Anthonys statue is hung on the cow-house door to bring good luck to the cows.
    A horse-shoe is hung in the stable door to bring good luck to the horse.
