There is a story told that when the Blessed Virgin was going to Bethlehem that she lost the pin of her coat and that she asked a smith to make a pin for her. He had no iron but he took a piece of money from his pocket and beat it into a fine broach and gave it to her She thanked him and gave him her blessing. The smith is looked upon as being very strong.
