  1. Long ago there were many harmful weeds growing on the land but there are not so many now because people have spray to kill the weeds. There was a weed by the name of hemlock and it used to grow among oats. The men did not like to see this weed because it used to spread amongst the oats and spoil the crop and this weed also impoverishes the soil. Long ago the old people used to cut up the dandelion and boil it for the pigs. They also used to cut furáns for pigs.
