    Once upon a time there was a gentleman living in Glencorrib called Browne. He owned Ballymartin and Tullduff. He was born in Ballymartin near French Brook and went to school to the old chaple of Kilmaine. The school master sent him to the village of Kilmaine one morning for a coal. He went into a house called Connealy's for a coal to light the fire. Connealy
