  1. The people long ago used to wear different clothes to the people of the present time. The men used to wear a steel pen coat with brass buttons. They used to wear breeches buttoned at the knees, and a tall hat. They used to wear low shoes. The women wore red petticoats, and black shauls, and long white woolen stockings.
