    As the colleens fair at me would stare, with a
    gladsome gladdening eye.
    No collens glance would me enhance, I
    would not woo a queen.
    By the corribs banks in Ireland's ranks,
    with my fathers oul caubeen.

    with love I still revere.
    No greed or graft or tyrant's craft, ever hovered in its sphere.
