  1. Marriages.
    People usually get married between Christmas and lent. Long ago they had many customs in getting married. When a couple would be getting married she would wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. Long ago the girl used to get a bed, two sheets, two blankets and a large box for clothes. Horses that were at the wedding long ago. The man used to carry the lady behind him on the horse.
