At all the wakes long ago the people would all smoke an old pipe. The people say that if a man came into a house and carried a spade or a shovel on his soulders shoulders that he would be sure to get married twice to a black haired girl. If a person to the house and the woman of the house was making a churn he would bring the butter with him if he did not
help the woman to make the churning.
