  1. Long ago people thought that fairies or ghosts used to hide gold and silver in castles and old ruins. It was thought that there was gold buried in Turn castle and two men of Turin house went to look for it but they saw something that stopped them, they never told anybody it or why they did not go ahead with there work.
    It is also said that there is a stone in some field near Kilmaine and if a person passes it and kisses it they will get the gold and be
