  1. Lewin was the landlord who owned the land of Kilmaine. Lewin got the land from Canon who was a very bad man. He evicted a lot of people who had to go to England to work hard. The Lewins are in Ireland since the year 1585. When he died he gave the land to General Lewin and it is now taken from him and gave to the people of Kilmaine, and he is in South Africa at present.
