Ar an leathanach seo
- We have a cow at home. She is called "Polly". She is of a black colour. She lives in a nice house, every night. It is made of stone. Its name is a byre.
She lives out in the (night) day, and sleeps in the byre at night. She is tied with a big strong chain. People buy it in a town. The cow is milked in the morning, and in the evening. The first drop of milk, is milked on the floor for fear the fairies would bring the milk.
When she is milked they make the sign of the cross on her right hip with milk. When the man is driving her he says "Hurtch".
