  1. There was a landlord living in a big house in Hollymount. His name was Lindsay. He was very cruel to the people. He evicted all the people who were living in Thomastown and Rathgranaher. He made them knock down their houses to get the stones. Then he made them carry the stones one by one, to build a high wall around his land. He made the people get up very early every morning, until the wall was finished. When the wall was made, he gave very poor pay to the people for their work. He hunted into the bogs, and woods
