  1. My own district is Kilmain. My townland is Carramore and in the Parish of Roundfort. The Barony is Kilmain.
    My village is Carras. There are only seven houses in it now. The common but greatest name is Reilly. The houses are long, and fairly high. The roofs are thatched.
    There are nearly forty people in this village alone. Only two people are 70 years of age.
    People went to America from this village long ago. None went recently though.
    There is very good, fertile land in this village. It grows good potatoes, beet and all kinds of corn. There is also good land
