  1. Tailors are men who make suits. They are very common in this country. They make the suits in their own house now. Long ago they went around from house to house to make the suits.
    They came to the house. They brought the scissors, a thimble, and a needle with them. They took up the kitchen table and sat there for a week.
    If the people were wealthy he took his time in making the suit. If the people were wealthy he took a fortnight or three weeks to make it but if the people were poor he hurried with it and went on to the next because the food wasn't good. Tailors are very much respected now.
