  1. Once upon a time there lived two boys who were the best of friends. One of the boys name was Tom.
    Tom's mother was delighted when he wrote to her and he said in the letter that their young visitor was now as well and strong as ever, though she wished that the two boys were not quite so noisy. However they were all as happy as could be, and enjoyed themselves fine, especially in the holidays.
