    There is a village beside this school and its called in Irish "Criogán an Arbhair".
    Long ago this village was one field. Then the landlords came and divided it into farms, and fields, like they are now-a-days.
    There used to be corn sown in the greater part of this village and that is the reason why it is called "Criogán and Arbhair" or in English "Cornfield".
