  1. There was once a poor miserable man living in Waterford and he had a very strange dream one
    night.
    He dreamt that if he went to Shrule he would find a pot of gold hidden there. So he set out one morning in search of the gold. When he reached Shrule he saw a man breaking stones there. He told the man his strange dream and the man said that he had another dream of the same kind.
    The stonebreaker told him to go home and to dig at Cornfield back gate. Then the man returned home but he was too - tired that night to go and dig so he went to
