  1. Once upon a time there was a blacksmith who was married and had a child. He used to work late at night.
    His wife was ill for a long period and he had no one to await on him.
    One day as he was sobbing bitterly over the fire thinking of all his troubles he heard a sorrowful scream at the door. He arose up and opened the door and there he found his miserable child.
    He took the child in his arms and lay it beside its mother in the bed but whilst carrying the child. When he searched the bed he found his wife dead also. Immediately he sent for
