    Old Ruins
    There is a ruin of an old castle over where we are living
    it is in the townland of Knocklinsky, parish of Robeen and barony of Kilmaine
    It was built by the BIngham's and was owned also by them
    It was built about 150 years ago and burned accidentally by a (-)

    They were against all Catholicks. These Bingham's had a man working for them and for every priest head he would get for them he would get £5.
    There is a ruin of an old chapel about 500 yds
