    Landlords
    The landlords around here in Newbrook were the Binghams
    They were here a long time and they are gone about sixty six years
    The people did not at all like them
    There were also evictions if they did not obey them. They used to go to the bogs and make little huts of tone. There are ruins of the huts yet. There were a few huts on Derryfadd road. The landlords got the land by selling their faith and also in the walls of Cromwell. They gave the people a small patch
