  1. There are no tailors in this district but there was some long ago. A tailor lived in Kilvendoney named Pat Feerick? He used to go from house to house making clothes. Some of the people who lived near him used to bring him clothes and he used to make it for them. If the people in the house where the tailor was working hadn't a strong table for the tailor to work on they would take down the door and he would work on it.
    A man lived in Clooncormac named John Lynard. He was a weaver and used to weave blankets.
