Smiths and Forges
There is two forges in the village of Ballyglass they belong to Tom Fallon and to Tom Killeen.
There is a ruin of an old forge in the yard we are living in it. It belonged to the Binghams
Tom Fallon's father was a smith before him. He was Martin Fallon. He died about four years ago. There was no special shaped doors to the forges. They are roofed with sheet-iron. They shoe horses and asses. Long ago the old smiths used to show cattle for ploughing.
