Ar an leathanach seo
- Long ago there lived in Ireland, a smith who had only one son. The boy was about ten years of age and was strong and healthy. One day he got sick and had to be carried to bed. No one knew what had happened and the boy would not, or could not tell what befell him.
His father was very sad to see his son in such a state. One day he was in his forge, thinking about the boy, wondering if he would ever get better. Just then, in walked an old man, famed for his wisdom and cleverness. The smith told the old man all about his son and asked him to help him cure him. The old man was silent for some time, then he spoke and said "I do not believe it is your son who is at home. He has been carried away by the fairies and someone else is left in his place. Then the smith said, " Am I ever to see my dear son again". When he said this, the old man said to him "I will(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
