    There is an old man living near this village, and he is nicknamed "Sean an Taidhbhse. This old seanachaidhe tells a tale, that he was [?] with a terrible ugly hump on his back. One night, he was returning home very late from [?] fair of Shrule. He had a few pints taken so felt in a very merry mood. He decided [?] take a short "cut" home, and crossed up through the "Grove". As he was passing by the castle, he heard beautiful music, and stopped to listen to a number of voices singing. "[?]
