Two are for good luck, three for joy, four for marriage, five for death, six for heaven, seven for hell and eight for a funeral. People used to say that if you fell in the house that you would not get married for a year. If a person fell going through a graveyard, he would die soon. If you spill salt it is a sign that you will have a fight with a person. If you give a safety pin to a person, you will have a fight with that person. If a person found a safety pin lost, and if the head of it was turned to him, it was a sign he will have good luck. It is the sign of a visitor if you see two hens fighting. Two spoons in your cup is the sign of a wedding. If there is a tea leaf in the top of your cup of tea it is the sign of a letter, if it is hard and fat, it is the sign of a cheque in the letter, and if it is small and thin, it is the sign of a love letter.- Collector
