  2. In my mother's native village of Castlecreeveen, there are the ruins of a very old castle. This castle was owned by the Burkes, and the heir of it was Creeveen Burke. This was why they called it Castlecreeveen. There were two sisters, Helen, and Creeveen, and they always quarrelled, so Helen took her departure to some other country. Creeveen got married to a man from Castlebar, named George Barry. He lived very happy with Creeveen for a few years, but she
