  1. Long ago the people used to eat three meals a day. They would get up at five o clock in the morning and work till ten without eating anything. Then they would eat their breakfast of patotioes and buttermilk, they had no tables and they had to eat the potatoes out of a sgib. Then they would have their dinner at one o clock, of bread and milk the bread was made of crushed rye and oatmeal baked in a heart stone.
