  1. About ten people sat on the floor, boys, and girls, and they had a small stick. They passed it around from one to another of them, and they said "Cé'n ait a gcuirfidh tú do saighdiúir agus pilléad."?
    If they could not say it they were sent to "Cloon, cill, béal na baile."
    Soot was put on their foreheads if they said any of these.
