  1. The most harmful weeds growing in our farm are the dock-leaf, the chicken weed, the thistles and the nettles. The dock-leaf is harmful because it takes the good from the land and from the other plants. The chicken-weed is also a harmful plant because it spreads rapidly and chokes the other plants near it. The thistles and nettles are harmful because they make the soil poor.
