- The local fairs are held in Claremorris Ballyhaunis and Kiltimagh. Long ago there were fairs held in the country. The usual place for the country fairs was in a village called X Ballina Costello. It is situated about two miles from Knock. It is not held there now because it is too far away from a station and the buyers did not come.The fairs are held in(continues on next page)
