  1. A Story of a Widows Son
There was once a man who lived in bally Eneim, and he was very strong and his father was dead. One day he was out in the field diging potatoes for his mother when a man from Claremorris came up to him, and said that he wanted him to fight him the man brought home the potatoes, and when he was going home with the potatoes he stuck the spade in the hard road. When the man from Claremorris saw that he ran away, and he told slan that he won.
