  1. There is a fairy fort about half a mile from my house. There is a thatched house in the field and it is haunted. Any tenant who goes to the house always hears some noise around the house or someone tapping at the window. One night a man was passing by the fort. He was coming from a funeral. He stepped up on the ditch and he saw the fairies having a fair among themselves and they buying and selling. The man could not go and further. He had to go back to the house again.
