  1. There is a fort in my district and it is supposed to be a fairy fort. People used to hear wood being chopped there and lights were seen flickering about there about two and three o'clock in the morning.
It is said that the Danes built this fort and there are trenches in the fort from behind which they used to
fight and hide. It is circular in shape. This story was told to me by my father Thomas Clarke.
