  1. The people have no special times for marriages except that they do not get married during Lent. The old people have a rhyme about the days of the week. it is:
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses,
    And Saturday is no day atal.
    Some of the people make matches. They fight for the last five pounds. If they did not get the five pounds they might throw the girl up. The mother of the girl buys a bed for her. She usually buys a feather bed. Everyone who comes to the wedding brings the couple to their own house and first shake hands with the married couple. They they dance and the people of the house give them drink. They all go in disguise except the leader. He wears gloves and maybe wears leggings. He asks the bride to dance with him.
    They had a procession also. Long ago they used to go on horseback.
    The wives used to side up behind the men on the horses. They would run as long
