    is very common among old people. It has its own cure as well as any other disease. The cure that the old people have for it is to get twenty one garlic roots and one pint of un-racked whiskey and steep them for a week in corked bottles and then take an egg stand full every morning.
    There is a well near Balla and people visit it the three first days of May on a pilgrimage. The name of the well is St. Tiarárn and the people perform stations that their cattle would be remedied from any disease the may have
