    bridegroom. The spree is usually held three or four days before the the wedding. Sometimes the strobes come to the house where the feast is held. Their faces are blackened and they are dressed like wren boys. They play music in the house and all the people start dancing. The strawboys are usually some of the friends dressed up to make the feast more interesting.
