  1. The names of the local roads are, Strypes road the Meelick road and the old bog road which leads from Carrinlough to "Crocán-na-scuab" and the old people say that road is made over one hundred years if not more.
    There was a castle in Carrinlough and there was a road leading from it to Irishtown.
    The other local roads are. The Irishtown road and the Ballindine road.
