  1. My home is in the district of Ballindine and the parish of Kilvine. There are fifteen families in the townland and there are a big number of people in it. Some of the houses are thatched but most of them are slated. There are people over eighty and almost ninty years living there. Some of them have Irish and they can tell stories in Irish and English.
    The houses were more numerous locally in former times. There are a few of them now in ruins. Some
