  1. My home is in the district of Ballindine, Co. Mayo. The name of its village is Carnlough, its townland is Irishtown. There are a few old people in the parish. Some of them are ninty years and some almost a hundred. These know Irish and can tell Irish stories.
    There aren't many ruins in this district. A number of people imigrated to America in former times.
