  1. Potatoes are grown in our farm
    about an acre and half land
    go under potatoes each year.
    My uncle prepares the ground
    The ground is manured before
    turning up. Most of potatoes a
    sown in ridges. Plough is use
    in making. Wooden ploughs we
    used long ago. Spades are made
    locally and bought in the shop.
    Some people help one another sown
    potatoes. My mother and I pick the
    potatoes from the earth. Potatoes are
    stored in pits. The local names of
    potatoes are Aran banners cera pink and epicures.
