    There are two forges in the parish. Mr. Raftery and Mr. O'Connor that ownes them and they are both situated in the road-side. Their people have been smiths for over fifty years.
    The forges are situated in "Cloves" and "Craoibh Isril." The forges are roofed with corrugated iron.
    It has one door one window at the back and one fireplace. The bellows are used for kindling the fire The smith used an anvil, a sledges, a vice, a hammer and pincers. The smith
