    only shoemaker in the district. Clogs are still worn and made locally. In winter they are supposed to be worn.
    Leather was never made in the district. There (are) was only one shoemaker in former times against a hundred at the present day. The why it is changed is, because there weren't as many shoes at that time as there are now.
    I do not know any sayings or proverbs about the care of the feet.
