    The cure people had for toothache long ago is to get a lump of blue-stone and put it into the tooth or another cure is to put a lump of soot into the tooth.
    The cure they had for chin-cough was to eat some food that the ferret would leave after him.
    The cure for sore eyes was to get a plant that grew in the thatch and squeeze it and wash their eyes with it.
    For headaches they used to go to the weaver to have their heads measured.
