  1. There is an old church in Scarduane. It is about a quarter of a mile from the road leading to town. There is only the gable and part of the sidewalls standing there now. It is standing in William Conways Land. There is a floor of [?]-flst stones in some of it and there is no floor in some more of it. It was built about ninety years ago. Some of the people say it was Father O Fable that got built and some people say that no one knows who got it built because it is too old and no one knows who got it built.
