    to stand back about five yards. They used to make the holes as big and as wide as a cup. The stones used to be as big as a marble.
    Marbles
    It was a game played by the children about twenty years ago. They used a number of marbles and make a straight line of them. Then they used to get another marble. They used to stand back two or three yards. Then they used to get the marble and roll it. They used to try and knock out the other marbles of the line. They used to spend all the time they had in play. This custom is not observed in my locality for twenty years.

    It was a game played by the children in school.
