think that they would break the Sabbath if they bought anything. They would buy anything they wanted on Monday or on Friday. They thought that Monday and Friday were the two luckiest days in the week for buying anything.

There used to more tramps going around in the old days then there are now. They used to have great welcome for them because they used to always have news to tell.
"Gundy" was a tramp with fair hair. He was about five feet high. He was a great composer of rhyms. He used to make them up going along the road. He was very fond of drink and used to wear coloured hats and ribbons. One day he was going around Ballindine with a womans hat on
